Meet the Author!

Audrey Davis-Dunning is a powerhouse innovator, renowned motivational speaker, educator, and Mom-preneur.

African dance is not just her life but her love, and every opportunity to teach and connect others to its rich culture, dance, music, and history is an absolute joy.

She specializes in several types of West
African dance, culture, and music. She also designs and teaches cultural arts programs in various
school environments across the state of New Jersey.

Audrey's mission is to help all of her students expand their knowledge as well as engage their own personal artistry.

She founded Get Your Goddess, a women empowerment organization designed to amplify women to the next level in 2015 after re-defining what it means to be a Goddess in both her personal and professional life. By combining her two loves, African Dance and Personal Development, Audrey has helped transform women of all ages into empowered Goddesses destined for greatness. Get Your Goddess facilitates workshops, speaking engagements, one-on-one coaching sessions, and shares custom branded resources designed to inspire and motivate women to embrace their natural beauty and ignite their inner Goddess. Through movement, music, and self-reflection, Audrey continues to expand her Goddess empire.

An educator by profession, Audrey-Davis Dunning is known for her energetic and positive outlook. She became an avid student of personal development and empowerment while attending graduate school. Having received her Masters from Cornell University, she has gone on to mentor and advise hundreds of women on their personal journey to success and fulfillment as a College Professor and Academic Advisor. She is also proud to say she is certified in the True Colors Personal Success System!

Audrey served as the Artistic Director of the Iwa Lewa Heritage Dance Ensemble and has performed at various venues including the George Street Playhouse, PNC Arts Center, and has performed on Channel 9 News. As a NJPAC Teaching Artist, she has also done dance residences at various school districts. As a wife and mother she enjoys spending time with her family, eating great food and dancing to the latest hits!
